I received St. Tropez,  Self Tan Purity Bronzing Waters few days ago. I have to say that it's one of the easiest, fool proof tanning products I have ever tried!  Having olive skin (but being a big fan of protecting my skin from the sun), I’m a long time fake tan user. Unfortunately, a lot of tanning products on the market just don’t have much of an impact or I find myself having to apply 2 applications to achieve anything of a result. Not with this! After one application, the colour was incredible and natural. Although it looks like a liquid in the bottle, it comes out as a light, fluffy mousse. I used a tanning mitt to apply and since it leaves a slight sheen on the skin, it's easy to see anywhere you've missed. The smell reminded me of summer, and so different from how we usually expect a fake tan to smell. After a few hours, I had a lovely, even, golden tan. It's also really easy to build a deeper tan by re-applying daily until you get your desired colour. I found that one application gave a nice, natural looking tan.

With its clear, tropical scented mousse and mist you can wear all day and have a golden glow that lasts for days. No risk of transfer, no need to rinse off and a tropical scent to see you right through the day. 

Highly recommended, especially if you struggle getting a streak free look!!

Usually after applying Self Tan Purity Bronzing Wafter after 3 days I apply Extra Dark Bronzing Mousse FOR WHEN DARK ISN'T DARK ENOUGH! it is the most natural, darkest tan they have ever tried! If you leave it on for 4 hours it’s basically the same as their original dark shade and 8 is “extra dark”. I left mine on all night long.

So the next morning, I showered off and I saw SO much color come off in the shower.  I was worried I’d be left with no tan at all.

But once I got out and dried off, I was left with a dark tan.  My tan was brown, not orange at all.  I really loved the color it gave me; the color was by far my favorite thing about my self tanner.  However, I don’t know that it’s THAT different of a color than their dark self tanner.  It may be darker by one or two shades. My tan lasted about 5-6 days.

You do really need to be extra careful around the usual problem areas- wrists, ankles, knees, etc- because it will get darker but I think this is a must-have going into summer!  Now I’m getting SO many compliments on the color. Stepping into summer with the ultimate golden glow thanks to St Tropez.
