"Highlighting concealer" may sound like an oxymoron, but this famous formula turns dark circles luminous in seconds. Plus, it offers some coverage for spots, and accent cheekbones. The click-pen concept seems cool but doesn't give a lot of control, so it's easy to end up with too much product on the brush.
This is such a nice concealer! I use it everyday because it looks so natural like its my own skin. The applicator is really handy and I know I need exactly 1 click per eye for the best result. I have used the product applicator, my fingers, a dedicated makeup brush but ultimately found blending out with a makeup sponge to be the best bet. The finish is lightweight, non-cakey and bright. Very enjoyable! I love this product.
Go slowly with the click dispenser. I will admit to getting a bit aggravated with it and started indiscriminately clicking. Before I knew it, product started coming out. Learn from my little lesson: exercise some patience! Also, now that there are more shades out there, I highly recommend going to Notino's website and getting colour matched. It’s really worthwhile. It’s a solid financial investment, and not everyone is lucky enough to be given a product like this. If you want to spend the money, make sure you get the right shade for you.
I am going to Milano for few days and I am taking two amazing products with me! One of them Blue De Chanel & the other one is Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat.
Bleu de Chanel is Chanel’s “first major male fragrance since 2004’s Allure Homme Sport and its first men’s master brand since 1990’s Egoïste.”* Even though Bleu de Chanel is not geared to a particular demographic/age-group, Chanel hopes this fragrance will broaden its appeal with young men. Bleu de Chanel was created by Chanel’s in-house perfumer Jacques Polge and it contains notes of citrus (bergamot, lemon, grapefruit), “deep blue sea” accord, peppermint, pink pepper, nutmeg, ginger, jasmine, cedar, vetiver, patchouli, labdanum and frankincense.
It's sweeter than it's predecessor. At the same time it is more denser. I wore it to a bloggers breakfast in Milano and I get a couple of remarks on my scent. So thats's incredible. This made me very happy that other people also realises how nice the smell is!
How long does it last?
The amount of time this scent has remained on my skin is remarkable: 12 hours and I can still smell hints of lavender resonating. Projection is above average: an arm's length but nothing past.
Going into summer, this is going to be one of my go-to fragrances. A creamy, smooth citrus rebirth and one that I can't get enough of.
